My daughter is still wearing the brace. It is not a quick fix it. Yes it is suppose to DECREASE the curve, She has to go to Doc, every 3 months to make sure that the pressure from the elastics are doing its job. Also, I THINK, a decision has to be made, depending the severity of the curve. If the curve does not improve after acertain period of trial en error, the Doct, would change the kind of brace she is wearing. To be 6 years old, and to wear a brace...must be tough. i am surprised tough, that your Doc has not heard about the Spine cor. Did you ever go for a second opinion. Who is your Doct?Are you in NY? By the way ,I got our Doc through Rabbi Berman, who refers people to top of the line specialists.
