Has anyone out there had recurring bouts of pain , similar to biliary colic (you know, the pain that sent you to the ER)
even AFTER surgery?

how long ago was your surgery-if recently, r/o internal bleeding, which can be very painful. if a while ago and it's all supposedly healed up, r/o scar tissue/adhesions; the single greatest cause of scar tissue/adhesions is surgery. and the treatment is surgery, or you can try manual scar tissue massage/PT.

(note-i am NOT speaking from personal expreince with gallbladder specifically, but do have a dear friend who underwent surgery a while back and had problems afterwards)

i had my gallbladder removed (B"H, it was laparascopic) and was fine afterwards but a year later starting feeling that awful pain again and went into ER and had endoscope which found gastritis, B"H no more stones but then dr did a ERCP and that came out clear, B"H but that procedure caused me to have pancreatitis.

I hope you're feeling better and find out what is causing you the pain.
