Feeling like I need to do something meaningful, but my visual image of something meaningful is working or volunteering for a cause that is ostensibly kind/giving/helpful to others. Currently, I am unemployed (in the process of interviewing for jobs in my profession of nursing) and my day to day is flexible and unstructured so I don't have a consistent outline within which to perform the above.

Can you relate?
Do you think that doing objectively meaningful things can effectively relieve what is a psychological, and not spiritual, problem? Essentially, if the void stems from a psychological disorder, can it be sated through acts of kindness?

Looking forward to your responses......
