I'm sure this topic has come up already, but I'll ask it anyway: any bipolars out there interested in making a strictly bipolar dating forum?

the reason why i suggested bipolar strictly is because i rather a mate that can not simply sympathize with me, i want her to empathize with me. I want my wife to understand when i'm manic, depressed or both - mixed state. Yes, it's difficult to do with such s limited amound of people who participate on this site, but it's worth a shot.

Why do you need to have a shidduch who also has a mental illness? My husband does not have a mental illness and BH he can really empathize with me. Also, why do you need to tell the shadchan that you have bipolar? I don't think it's necessary. You have a lot to offer-you are not just the bipolar.

How should we go about this? I think all who are interested should put down a small profile of themselves. And if one wants a picture it would have to be sent by email. What does everyone think?

Are you the patient or the parents of one that needs a shidduch? Because I am the parent.

I am a patient. But there's got to be someway to advertise in a private way to get people to join. Any suggestions?
