I am looking for or to make a frum support group for women with mental illness prefereblly Bi polar. I am married and have been suffering since I was 15 this would really mean a lot to me I would even host from my house. But first am looking for any groups in bp Brooklyn allready in excistance

I don't have any information for you, but you can try calling Relief: 718-431-9501. See if they know of any support groups, or if they can help you start one.

Hi, I'm a child of a woman suffering from bi-polar and I'm trying to find a support group for my mother.I haven't found any groups in boro park and would love for her to join if you make one.

@ hopeful mommy, I called relief and they didn't know of any groups.

my dad with bipolar lives in bp, u can try calling ohel residence to see if they would create one.

A while back, I spoke with Mordechai Klein in Brooklyn who was willing to start a group but I think it never got off the ground. Perhaps you want to try him? 718-522-7877. I have groups, but am located in the Bronx.

A non-Jewish support group for bipolar is NAMI. (Nami.org)

If you come to israel we have one going on here in ramat beit shemesh. Its more for depression but i have bipolar 2 and still a part of it. Dont give up trying to make a group. Its really important and helpful. Good luck
