Hi. I am new to these boards - have been perusing for a while and now posting for the first time.

My husband and I are married for close to 10 years, and we have two children K"AH. My husband was diagnosed with bipolar in his early twenties (before we were married). We went through some difficult years until we B"H found the right doctor and the right medication. He has been on lithium and paxil for the last five years, and B"H has been very stable. He is a wonderful husband and father, and I wish for all those suffering from this condition that you have success in finding the right medicine that can help you have fullfilling, happy lives such as we are now blessed with.

What I'm trying to find out is, anyone out there have a hard time with feritility while on meds. Ever since my husband changed his medication, we have not been able to conceive again. We have gone to doctors and were diagnosed with a male fertility issue. What we don't know is, has this been a cause of the lithium/paxil, or is it some other factor.

I appreciate your informed feedback.

Vivi
