I hate being so alone!!

I just moved into my own apartment (instead of staying in the basement of relatives..)
But I am depressed! I don't want to get out of bed. I can't stand the loneliness!!!

The obvious thought is that I should date/get married.. But I'm afraid of 'being seen' by someone. I feel so insecure about myself.
I am self conscious about my physical appearance and don't feel likeable or loveable!!!

I am so sad that what I thought would work out for me -moving into my own place- is actually very depressing for me!!
I feel hopeless.

Nothing is working out for me.
I am so so so so sad!!!!

I would cry but those ducts were dried out a long long time ago!

I'm so sorry MoMo that must be so disappointing!
I also felt very lonely when I moved into my own apartment. I found that the busier I got, and the less time I spent in my apartment by myself the easier and a bit less lonely it became.
But the problem of feeling alone in general is still there... It's part of the illness unfortunately.
I hope you can discover a way to make your apartment into a safe haven for you.
Wishing you peace of mind and happiness.

I hate sounding so negative but Shabbos was awful!!!

I had to be a guest for all the meals -the social pressure involved wrecks havoc
It was very painful...

Nu.

Momo, you sound like an amazing person who is very kind, sympathetic and sensitive. Those virtues are often hard to find in a guy, so I can't imagine you being unlikeable.

Momo...I'm sorry you're so lonely. Try to remember we're all here under the moon in that big place called Earth. Our loneliness is our jail but we can break free. Perhaps looking for someone to learn with again, getting into social situations you are comfortable with, etc. will get you back in the "right place" of unloneliness (for lack of a better word.) Keep trying. You'll make it.

I stopped watching stuff online because supposedly it's bad for me and its addictive :-/

I did used to feel uchy after wasting time online but on the other hand it was a distraction...
And I know I was addicted....

I am realizing now that I really chose this loneliness because there is a girl that actively wants to be in a relationship with me and I want it too but I am choosing not to....

You didn't choose the loneliness! You chose not to relieve your loneliness in an unhealthy way. I think that shows maturity and strength of character.

I guess you're right.
But It makes it a little easier for me if I realize that I am lonely as a result of a moral choice it gives the loneliness some meaning..
