:-)
Because I'm afraid of change.
And because I don't know how to live without extreme feelings.
and because when I struggle, I know that Hashem wants me to try to do what I can. But if I'm "ok" then it's much more difficult to figure it out...

Mainly because I'm afraid of change.
Also because I don't know how to live without extreme mood shifts.
And also because I don't know what Hashem will want from me when I'm 'better' and that scares me. A lot.

I went to my therapy appointment.
I did some school work with a girl from my class -and didn't act all self conscious (probably because I took Klonopin. Does that count?).

Hashem please help me and the rest of us on this forum find healing and love. Let us feel safe and secure. Help us accomplish your will for us!
We can only take that much!!!!

The therapist told me that it would be good for me to chill out at school -I shouldn't need to know everything perfectly..

Because of my depression the past few days I missed two very important classes. And there is a test in Wednesday!!

I am scared. But I think the healthy attitude is to realize that I won't do as good as I'd like -I might get a B or a C and that the world won't end!!
but I can't explain how hard it is for me to accept this. It feels like total failure -but I'm going to try my best to invest decent effort to recoup what I missed without making myself crazy..

Hashem, you know my hardships!!
I can't do it alone!!!

Good for you, Momo. Good luck.
I too feel that anything less than an A+ is a failure... the pressure and anxiety causes me much anguish. I totally get you.

This mantra helps me when I'm pushing myself too hard:
Make things easy and enjoyable.
Slowly, I am getting used to enjoying myself without feeling guilty.
B"H Slow and steady wins the race. (Another one of my mantras.)

Does raising four kids with depression count as a victory? I do it every day and feel totally wiped from it!
