I studied which took discipline.
I initiated conversation with a guy from my class.
I davened with Minyon.
I did an errand for a family member who does so much for me.
I got a filter on my phone.
I learned with my Chavrusa.
I had a heart to heat with a friend and lent him a listening ear.

I still can't wrap my mind around how I was able to do so much.
I know this high won't last...

Hey it doesn't matter how long it lasts...enjoy the moment. ....Sounds great all you did. You always think of others. I find that special.

I am not in so much pain right now and my procedure was approved for this coming wk. I'm a bit nervous but doing ok. Funny as it sounds just knowing it will be taken care of and not hurt much longer not only makes me happier but takes away some pain....I guess some is psychologically in there.

I went to college today despite only sleeping half the amount I usually sleep.
I did well on a quiz b"h.
I davened Mincha/Marriv with minyon!! (for me that's a step forward).
I try to learn with a chavrusa at night.

For some reason I'm getting anxiety from writing these things.
Not sure why.
maybe I'm demanding myself to feel good about myself but its not working.
That makes me afraid that I'll never get better :'(:'(:'(

I went to Shul for Shachris -first time in a long time.
Showed up to college on time.
Studied.
Interacted with a classmate.
Devened Mincha Marriv with Minyon.
Learned with my Chavrusa.
I ate some healthy foods.

I stayed engaged in life -I faced the real world.
Life is full of pain and difficult emotions I'm proud and thankful that I faced and lubes life today.
It was so so hard but it was the right thing to do.

Occasionally.
Why?

p.s. You obviously can see that you can hand in an imperfect paper and get a decent grade! Keep that in mind please!

Went to a Chanukah party at my cousins. This was really hard as I have little to nothing to do with them. It turned out really well though. They accepted my husband, kids and me and took me in. It felt good to be part of a family again. I'm crying now because I'm missing the family I had/have. No older generation to look to except my father in law. It's hard to accept. I feel alone and usually it doesn't bug me. Today was a reminder of what I had (kinda.) I guess I'm just having a hard time with the holiday and flooding of emotions. Glad I went to the party though so my kids could see we are part of a greater family than JUST their own cousins.

Thanks Channa. Btw, I've been thinking....a C isn't a bad grade. You passed. If taking for college credit, chances are you are transferring them to another. In most cases, not all, that transfers as a pass/fail. If that is the case, who cares???? Unless you're trying to get into med school, don't worry. If you are trying to get into med school, address those issues in you application . No one is perfect. And, that is just a grade in a zillion that has nothing to do with self worth. So relax, try to pass but enjoy the environment you're in too.

Was dealing with extreme feelings of guilt and depression but went to college and spent a few hours studying.
I went to a Chanukah party which was difficult for me.

I'm jealous of you Munkster.

I did well on a test b"h.
I learned with my chavrusa.
I prayed at shul.
So while I want to function more I was not dysfunctional.

I pushed myself to go to my therapy session.
I didn't sleep at all during the day even though I was tired.
I pushed forward after wasting time and feeling guilty -I faced the hard feelings and tried to move forward.

May the light of Chanukah brighten our souls and may we all merit true nissim in our lives as a klall and as individuals.
