Does anyone out there have any advice. I have a son who will be entering shidduchim and has a mood disorder diagnosis. Please let me know if you have dealt with this and how you navigated the system.

I would say ask a rav how much info to divulge and when. I was told at the time I was dating not to divulge the info until things were more serious. I was also told that unless it is pertinent to my situation, I should not divulge previous hospitalizations. I cannot say this is what every rav would say. I got this from a prominent rav familiar with mental health issues within the community. (I don't want to say who it was for a variety of reasons -- mostly because I think you should get a rav's advice in case this blows up in your face.) I don't have any ideas of who you should ask but if you can find one that specializes in mental health.
P.S. I've been married now almost 18 yrs!!!! So it worked out in the end through thick and thin.
