I feel really guilty.
I recently started recovery (I'm at a healthy weight) and I was really nervous about the fasting. I was scared it's gona trigger me and I'm gona have a setback and I really can't afford that now. I called a Rabbi and told him my concerns and he told me I should definitely not fast.
I feel soo bad eating on a day when the Bais Hamikdash was destroyed. I feel like I'm fooling myself because I just want to get away with fasting. On the other hand I know i'm not strong enough...
I feel like I'm doing something so wrong...
I don't know what's the point in this post.
It's just that no one knows about this and i had to get it out.

If your rabbi said you should eat, eat.

You have done enough destruction in your body by having an ED, so now, don't over eat, don't eat "fun" stuff, eat the basic minimum, but if your Rav said to eat, EAT, and I wish you to go from strength to strength.

i agree with su7kids about what you should eat when you eat. and i also agree with your rabbi.
good luck with your recovery! and that was great of you to even ask your rabbi about that.
