I really wanted to post on Friday, before I went through this Shabbos, but didn't have a chance - so I was left to cope on my own, without your support.
But, B"H, things really went much better than I thought they would, and I coped surprisingly well.
I had guest for both meals - which I almost never do. I usually eat the meals, purging numerous times in between. Obviously, what with our wonderful guests being here, I could not do it until they had left, and I coped surprisingly well. And after the day meal, I didn't even end up purging! That's a major yay for me!
During the meal itself, the eating was somewhat hard. I felt like I had to eat - so forced the food down, feeling really yucky about it all along.
But I did it, I managed - and besides the food issues, I actually found the company enjoyable - so maybe I'll do it again? Not too fast, though. I need some time to recuperate.

Good for you!!!

Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will follow you.

Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say "I know you are not".

Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm happy.
