My doctor asked if I was eating well...like decent foods. I didn't mention the binging/purging thingy and just took route of least resistance and said "yeah." Truth be told, it all shows in the blood tests that I haven't been a total angel. I have several vitamin deficiencies that are causing problems. Do I go back and say, "nah, i was just kidding when i said i ate well." or do i tell the truth, or leave it alone? I'm not in the mood to fix this problem at this time. . Too many other things going on.

tell the truth. then there will be no mystery as to why you're deficient, and if they find out the truth in the end anyway then they'll be suspicious of what you say in the future. be honest that it's not something you're wanting to work on right now and that you have too much else going on. honesty is always best. even if it's gonna be annoying having to listen to what they have to say.
