I'm not sure if this goes here, but I cant find any other subject on PMDD. Does anyone have it, and feel that it doesn't go away when you get your period, but keeps going for a few days? I'm going out of my mind, and I'm already taking zoloft and lamictal.

no official diagnosis of PMDD but the psychiatrist i went to because i thought i was depressed put me on lexapro b/c i had awful pms that started a wk b4 getting my period and lasted a few days after getting my period. since i started taking lexapro i stopped getting pms and b/c i take it every day and not just the 2 wks b4 i get my period i feel good the rest of the month too. it feels horrible to b in a rotten mood and feel awful and know its b/c ur getting ur period and not be able to do a/t about it.

wut are the side effects of lexapro?

i didn't really get any side effects. when i was getting up to the right dosage i would get dry mouth for a few days after the adjustment but it went away.
