all of the scoliosis topics have been about children..
i am an adult woman,, middle age.. and have been diagnosed w/48 curve scoliosis.. i never had any trouble my whole life and all of a sudden it is causing me tremendous pain.. i know that surgery is an option,, but it's definitely not the first option,, even the specialist told me that. i have had many steroid epidurals,, nerve blocks.. wear a light elastic brace around my upper waist and around my hips.. take vicodin for bad pain.. but i have no real life. this pain limits me... does anyone have any ideas or experience with this and if a doctor is reading this.. are there any real options other than surgery ( which as i said has NOT been recommended by the surgeons until i am desperate! )
may all the cholim of am yisroel have a total refua shalayma gmura b'mhara!!!
