I was wondering if anyone has tinnitus, or is very close with someone who has it. My father got when I was five (almost twelve years ago). He almost never speaks about it (doesn't like to be reminded)--maybe I remember two, three, four times total. I really really want to speak to someone who is dealing with this.
You may email me or write on this message board--preferably email.

He should be evaluated by an ear, nose and throat doctor and
evaluate the problem. It is no big deal to do some basic testing
and get a feel of what it is, and how it may possibly be helped.

Thank you for your advice, but he has B"H already done that. He's a doctor himself so he knows that that is necessary and did it when he was first diagnosed, which as I said was almost twelve years ago. I just personally wanted to speak to someone who is dealing with this. I am very curious, but I don't speak to my father about it because I know he doesn't like to think about it or be reminded of it.

OK - 12 years is a long time and things change.
He should go for a reevaluation.
(It is like telling someone I got a blood test or and EKG
12 years ago and everything was normal then....)

B well
