I went out with my mother today and really had a nice time. Now I came home and am starting to feel a bit down...... Does anyone else have this? Where they can have a really nice day spent with friends/family and then when they come home they start to feel down and sad??? What can I do for this? Any advice anyone?

Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will follow you.

Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say "I know you are not".

Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm happy.

Hey toy. I so get what your saying and it happens to me as well... Often I'm having an awesome, fun day and then the anxiety and depression kicks in as if to say "no your not allowed to enjoy yourself because I am down your back...". Personally, I feel that deep down I am scared that the happiness and fun is gonna end and I will be left alone. What I try to do is to tell myself that I will have another fun experience, its not the end and most of all that I can make myself happier.
I'm not gonna say that this always helps, but I want you to know that lots of us out there feel that way too. And I can say that I so get it and it sux.
Know I'm here for you!!!!

I think it happens because you're on a high from the good day and then you come home and that fun or exciting or even accomplishing part of the day is done so u just start feeling emptier... Wtvr, I'm making no sense. Forget I said a/t!

Hugs, you make perfect sense.
The emptiness feels even more empty after such complete joy.
