I always feel scared of Hashem. Like what if I am not a good person and what if Hashem doesn't love me? I don't care if I sound stupid saying this I am really scared of it. I just want to be loved and feel like I can love others and most of all I want Hashem to love me so I can have a good life and after my life have good things happen not bad things...like...you know... : (

It says in the Torah that Hashem loves us.

Your actions are different from your essence.

G-d doesn't like bad actions. But He still loves you, just as a parent loves a child. It's a basic, essential love, based on the essence of the person.

Our bad deeds....are like snowflakes that we can shake off. They are not the real person. Underneath is a pure neshama. We keep trying to uncover it.
This thought gives me a lot of chizuk.

I agree. Hashem loves us unconditionally
But if we feel like we are making poor decisions, teshuva is always available to us. Especially with the month of Elul coming, it is an auspicious time to do teshuva.
