Hi Dr. Lynn
I went for therapy after experience a trauma.
B"H im doing a lot better and felt that I was getting closer to being able to stop seeing my therapist.
Being aware of this I panicked. I'm really scared not having this "security blanket". I'm also scared that if I ever get depressed again not having a therapist would be really hard. I did discuss this with my therapist and she said that we can keep up the relationship and meet once in a while so I can feel comfortable calling her any time I need.
Even knowing all this I still feel shaken.
How do you usually handle stoping therapy? What would you recommend in my situation?
