I have recently switched therapists after seeing my former therapist for 6 years. I had been thinking of switching for some time, as although I really liked this therapist as a person (ie like a friend), I felt the therapy wasn't working well and wasn't doing enough for me. So I have seen a new therapist twice, and the problem is, she has already said things that make me very uncomfortable. I have an eating disorder, and she has said things that are triggering to me (although I must say, my triggers are complex). How do I know if I am uncomfortable because I am not used to her, or because it is really not a good match? Should I wait it out or go with my gut?

Let's just say G-d knew I had a sense of humor.
