I have been reading Allan Schore's book - Affect Regulation and the Repair of the Self -

Also listened to a webcast from Ruth Lanius PhD, MD where it was pointed out that even the default brain reactivity of someone is adversely changed.... My question has to do with the neurobiology of Dissociation -

Knowing that Hashem has created the brain with certain plasticity, what is the healing projectory and/or what is the path that is needed to bring about a repair of the neuro pathways? Is this a real possibility?


I do believe that Hashem can do anything - just wanting to know if you could say what the present treatment recommendatons/ possibilities are ( I know you cannot predict results)

Real healing is certainly possible whether through medications or therapy or through the combination. You can see the changes on MRI scans pre and post treatment.
