Dr Price, I was told that I can swallow my medication on tisha b'av with a little bit of water. My problem is that sometimes the pill gets stuck in my throat and then I need a lot of water to wash it down. Also if i know before i am limited in how much water I can drink, somehow my swallowing reflex refuses to work. (from anxiety) I was thinking it may be possible for me to avoid this by cutting the pills into smaller pieces, so I'll need less water to wash it down. Is there a limit to how many times I can take 1 oz. of water with medication? Do I have to wait between each piece of pill? Or is it ok to just take the whole thing without exactly calculating how much water and hopefully avoiding the whole business with dissolving bitter pill/ not being able to swallow it?
Have an easy and meaningful fast.

Can cut pill into pieces and take 9 minutes apart. I hope that helps.
