Someone please help me. I posted here that my doctor has been ignoring my calls and emails for more than 2 months now.

My doctor never letting me know that he "fired" me has caused me a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety, and now I feel completely dysfunctional. I depended on my doctor and it took me too long to "guess" that his not calling me back was his way of letting me go.

I now have to get my mental health back because I literally cannot function. I may sound dramatic but my room is a complete mess and I can barely take care of the house. It's ok to let me go as your patient but is just very unfair that I had to infer this. He was treating me for a long time.

I hope someone can say something to help me feel better - something of substance. This doctor clearly does not care, and in the end I paid the price.

The doctor abandoned you which was wrong at many levels.

Let Relief know of your experience with this doctor so they know not to refer him...hopefully they take it to heart. Next, get the name of other docs you CAN trust and go see them to if any you like. Next, and I really mean this, if you can find a way, splurge on a cleaning lady for one or two hours to come in and do a little cleaning to get you in the right place. Clean with her and you'll feel even better about the time with the cleaning lady (my experience at least.) Try to put yourself into an action plan mode rather than self sympathy (which although definitely you deserve, won't get you anywhere good.) Try to get moving just a little.
