Hi Dr. Price,

My wife is seeing a therapist. Her therapist recently recommended her to see a dr for meds. She told me that she feels my wife might have tendencies for Bi polar2. We are very nervous about medicine and their side effects. Do you know any Drs that wouldn’t push meds right away and might try other natural stuff first? I live in Brooklyn and don’t have a car to come to you. Thanks

You could call Relief Resources and ask for a referral locally 7184319501 x202. If you do decide to travel, you would likely only need one visit for a consultation to verify the diagnosis and initiate a treatment plan.

Thank you very much. My wife is on Topamax for migraines and we think maybe the side effects are causing her to have mood changes that are similar to bipolar 2. Do you think that is a possibility?
