Since i started Lamictal a couple weeks ago my appetite has sky rocketed. This is a very bad combo with the cipralex (escitalopram) that makes me constipated. I dont want to stop because i think its helpibg me but its driving me crazy that i cant stop thinking about food! Ive been eating like a horse and its really not healthy but i turly feel that its out of my control. Ive been on lamictal before in the past and dont remember this side effect but it could be that it eventually passed. Is there anything i can do? Does it usually pass??

More likely from the escitalopram than from the lamictal. Hoodia three times a day before meals may help.

Hoodia is a plant that suppresses appetite sold over the counter. Let me know how you make out.
