How do I express how I feel without my therapist feeling threatened? For example saying I feel like I want to hurt myself because nothing is getting done about something. I'm definitely NOT saying this out of jealousy, or attention seeking rather out of hurt??? Any ideas??? What would you advise your patient to do? I won't lie I am having urges and I want to be stopped before it's too late. I've worked way to hard for this one thing to pull me down....

Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will follow you.

Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say "I know you are not".

Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm happy.
