I just got discharged from a day hospital. I always have suicidal thoughts but since discharge they have become more intense and more "real" for lack of a better word. Is that normal??? I don't have a therapist at the moment...admittedly not a good thing but such is the situation. Should I go to my psychiatrist and let him know or does this sort of thing pass and get milder as time goes on??? I don't want to spend Rosh Hashana in the hospital .

For sure speak with the psychiatrist. May be the absence of the care you had been receiving.

Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will follow you.

Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say "I know you are not".

Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm happy.
