Dr. Price
My Doc suggested me lowering the dosage from 100 mg to 50 mg. I'm taking Zoloft.
I have been taking for a while one day 100 the next day 50, 100,50..
Does it make a difference how long this period is till I switch to 50?
If I feel a change in my mood is it still ok to go down to 50mg as long as I"m still in good shape and feel that I can work through it with my therapist?
I hope my questions were clear, if not, please let me know.
Thanks
B

Best to stay on same dose daily. Like 75mg for 2 weeks then 50mg etc. Let me know how you make out.

I went down to 50 and doing great B'H.
I noticed that when I start therapy after a break that I feel more optimistic happy etc.
How does this should affect the desicion of lowering the dorage even more?

Depends on how you are doing. Discuss with your doctor 50mg for a few weeks, then 25mg for a few weeks then off while monitoring for relapse along the way. Let me know how you make out.
