Dear Dr. Price,

I was taking the fish oil and I was happy to discover it's benefit for mental health
I started taking capsules only than switched to both capsules and fish oil and than increased the potency of capsules
I would like to get the potency of capsules to the maximum to get the maximum effect mental health wise
Unfortunately the kosher certified capsules that I was using only go so far
I don't know about their quality but the brand that I used smelled really bad
It's maximum potency that I was taking is about 1700 per three capsules
I wanted to switch to a different brand but wasn't sure if kosher was available
The maxi health is probably the best kosher brand available and it's about the same potency as the one that I was taking
I found two other brands that unfortunately weren't kosher but I was already permitted to take them as beneficial for mental health
The brand that I was taking: http://www.nutrisupremevitamins.com/omega-3-premium-180s
The brand I was considering to switch to: http://www.maxihealth.com/products/maxi-omega-3-2000.html?pcid=218
The brands that I discussed with a posek:

http://www.pureencapsulations.com/o-n-e-tm-omega.html

http://store.amenclinics.com/supplements/omega-3-power
According to the posek it does not matter the kashrus of this product as long as it ends up benefiting mental health
I am a little bit concerned about the product with non kosher fish because I don't know how my body will react to something it never had previously
Please let me know what you think

Sincerely,
Ben

Dear Dr. Price,
Thanks for answering my post
I am basically trying to compare supplements so I can purchase the one with the greatest potency, quality and safety
If you don't mind me asking when you recommended Maxihealth did you mean that it's safer to take as a supplement than other ones and is superior in quality?
Because if the other ones clearly have advantages like bigger potency and are of very good quality just use the non kosher ingredients that would be another issue unless of course those ingredients are themselves questionable

Maxi is most similar to what you were taking.

Dear Dr. Price

I spoke to my integrative Doctor who thought that the fish oil from pure encapsulation is really a good product considering that I get set backs when the fish oil affects run out
I am still deliberating about the product's safety it is called one omega three by pure encapsulations
Please let me know what you thinkg
I look forward to your reply

Sincerely,

Ben
