Are there ways to control or decrease obsessive thoughts without medicine?

Cognitive Behavior Therapy, NAC 1200mg twice a day and or Inositol powder 9500mg twice a day, take less if diarrhea. Inositol can work in just 2 weeks. Let me know how you make out.

Thanks. It happens to be that I already take nac, 2400mg once a day. It seems to make me happier but does not stop me from obsessing! Seems to work more like an antidepressant for me.

I have heard good things about CBT- I tried it once and could not stick to it because:
a) I felt like it didn't validate my feelings, something I constantly crave.
b) I have so much going on in my life that I feel a need to discuss in therapy. I literally need professional advice navigating some sticky dynamics. There's always something going on. I can't give that up!
