Hi Dr Price, is there any connection between adhd and emotional brain freeze. Do u think that like functional duties ie: job or other obligations in life or mundane activities that are extremely irritating and or annoying but necessary can just cause the brain to freeze and not allow it to carry out these functions and or obligations .

There probably is a connection. Many people with ADHD have a higher threshold for stimulation resulting the neglect of mundane activities until the pressure is really on as in rapidly approaching deadlines. Waiting until the last minute or living on the edge can get the dopamine juices flowing enabling ADHDers to hyperfocus.
