Dear Dr. Price:

As you know, I feel very pleased with your valuable responses.

Is it really typical for someone under depression or anxiety to have a desire to sleep? Depression and anxiety are usually associated with insomnia rather than with sleepiness. If both are possible, is there a way of knowing under what type of situation one or the other would onset? Besides taking medications, what can one do when a desire to sleep more than the normal time is present? If getting up is very hard, how could one struggle against such a problem?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
