I was just told that I have complex PTSD. I knew that I had PTSD but it does not seem like therapy is working. What should I do. I do not know if it is my Therapist or it's just me. What can I do for myself?

I have complex ptsd. basically it means that the trauma wasn't a one time experience. It was ongoing. I am doing very well with a mixture of DBT and psycotherapy. I would love to answer any specific questions you may have...

Hi star. When you say therapy isn't working, what do you mean by that? What is it that you're expecting to get of therapy that you're right now not getting. How long have you been in therapy?

Hi, I'm new here, so hi everybody.

I'm wondering what makes somebody "diagnosable" with C-PTSD. I definitely have features of it but my psychologist isn't sure that I really have it 100% even though I have years of different traumas and things.

Thanks in advance -
