So i decided it would be better for me to move out of my home. So i got a job offer to live an hour away, but would need to work as a counselor for 5 yr olds from 9 to 4 and then help out the family id be staying at from 5 to 7.
I REALLY REALLY want to get away from home but a) not sure i can handle that many hours of working!!! b)scared i will be lonely living away from home. although my mom triggers me a lot, she also helps with the loneliness so its a catch 22.
SO WHAT DO I DO? i have to decide by tonight!!!! help please!

I think it would be great for you to get away, but those hours seem overwhelming. Is there any way you can go and work for less hours?

Not wanting to work for 9 hrs a day is not lazy!!! Especially when you're working with little kids. They zap the energy out of you. Plus, it's hard to go from not working to working a ton of hours.

thanks you guys! I got the hugs! Still waiting to hear if she still wants me. If I live at a dif house I won't have to help with kids but still 7 hours!what if I hate it? Quit again?its so shameful.

In terms of loneliness, do you know anyone else who's going to be there that you can hang out with? Can you commit to only one half of the summer?

Star maybe this will console you. I also work for about seven an hr. For me it's worth it cuz I at least have what to do and also my boss is very understanding....

Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will follow you.

Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say "I know you are not".

Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm happy.
