Don't know where this belongs in the depression section or here..... I'm giving up all hope for ever getting better. I can't take this anymore. Everyone here is writing how they had a good y"k and how they davened and I slept the whole yom kippur. I didn't even daven a word. I believe Hashem is uninterested and doesn't want to hear from me so He made me sleep the whole day... WHY???? I can't take life anymore and the worst part is, is that I have NO ONE to talk to. Sorry for writing here I just need to vent!!!!!!

Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will follow you.

Sometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say "I know you are not".

Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm happy.

Sometimes sleeping all day is fine.
You fasted.

Sometimes sleeping all day is an even higher level than davening.
It brings out the absolute essence of a yid. That even when all that is possible is to fast while sleeping, a Jew does that.

You are in so much pain. I don't have the words to comfort you.
in the past I spent most Yom Kippur in bed and I too never believe anything would change..

Don't be so hard on yourself. You're alive and if that's where you are right now, that's good enough. Maybe sometime in the future you'll be "somewhere else" but for now, you have enough nisyonos you don't need to add to them.
