I just found this website and I'm looking for help raising a son with ADHD to be a kiddush Hashem, a solid ben Torah, a good husband and father. Anyone out there still using this group have any advice?

wow, mom...I don't know if you are reading this, but my daughter was just diagnosed recently too. It's a challenge given that I believe most likely, I"m ADHD myself and I KNOW my husband is. Generally it's hereditary. The best thing you can do is consider (not necesssarily get, but consider) medication as a possiblity if all else fails. If his teachers are good, and the behavior mod. program is strong, he should be able to function fine in the long term. The key is finding a school with mostly strong, great teachers open to dealing with an ADHD kid. It's hard, but possible.
