I am not sure what a boston brace is for, The one I wrote about is meant to decrease a curve in the spine called Scoliosis, it is usually given to teenagers in their growing years, there is a thick belt worn around the hips and the rest of elastics attach to it ,around
the waist and shoulders, pushing the curvature to a diferrent direction.

My daughter is still wearing the brace. It is not a quick fix it. Yes it is suppose to DECREASE the curve, She has to go to Doc, every 3 months to make sure that the pressure from the elastics are doing its job. Also, I THINK, a decision has to be made, depending the severity of the curve. If the curve does not improve after acertain period of trial en error, the Doct, would change the kind of brace she is wearing.
To be 6 years old, and to wear a brace...must be tough.
i am surprised tough, that your Doc has not heard about the Spine cor. Did you ever go for a second opinion. Who is your Doct? Are you in NY?
Hatzlocha

By the way ,I got our Doc through Rabbi Berman, who refers people to top of the line specialists.

i live in miami beach and i use a top notch pediatric orthopedist. he did hear abou t spin.cor but he said he will ot use it yet because all the studies show that it works are made by the company. he would use it but he wants to hear mor long term studies outside of the company that makes it. i'm wondering if you could ask your doctor for more info and let me know....B'H my son is doing well with it iconvinced him he is like a policeman who wears protective armor...... maybe your doctor has heard of mine his name is Dr. Steven Stricker and he is out of the University of Miami ...maybe your doctor knows some one in Florida that use this brace......what are mothers fior if not to find the best for our children I think i have more agmos nefesh about this then my son.... i made my husband go with my son for the brace because i thought i would be way too emontional....
anyways i'm glad this works for your daughter

I had scoliosis, and I went to a chiropractor. He fixed it right away, and it was gone, when I walked out. I didn't need a brace or surgery. What loss is there if you try it?
