Does anyone know anything about cpap machines that are better for use on Shabbos?

I don't have a cpap,
I have a bipap.
what I do on shabbos, I connect both my bipap machine and my humidifier to a timer, and I set it to turn on at night and then to turn off in the morning, like this I don't use so much electricity and the water of the humidifier doesent get used up so quickly.

I have written about this on the medical halacha list hosted by google. It seems that ResMed machines are more compatible than some Respironics for the following reasons. Some Respironics require the pressing of the start button even after the machine is turned on. Some machines turn on automatically when a person breathes into them and off when the person takes off the mask. Several people with sleep apnea have asked Sheilos to me about them, and I asked Hagaon Rav Chaim Kanievski whether a person who forgot to set a timer for a CPAP before Shabbos could turn it on KIL'ACHAR YAD, and he said that one should be done by a non-Jew.
It is good to talk to your DME about these specific concerns.
