is that the complete name? I think it is a metabolic disorder associated with certain mitochondrial diseases. If this is what you are referring to I might have some resources for you.

Hi Smile,
There is a really good resource for information www.umdf.org.
You might find it very helpful to sign up with them for a small fee. It is the united mitochondrial disease foundation. on their site, you'll find disease discriptions, ask the doctor, etc..
There also is a very active email support group mito@yahoogroups.com.
There arent many frum families that actively post on the group, but alot of moms in the same situation.
How old is your child? What info are you looking for?
