I was diagnosed with this about a year ago. I was told that there's really nothing to do. Everytime I get tired, my eyes go nuts and I see double because I can't control them. The doctor said I can wear a patch when that happens. Haha. I'm a 21 year old girl. I'm not walking around like that. Does anyone know of any other options?

Have you seen a neuro opthalmalogist? They might be able to help more than a regular eye dr.

I have been to quite a few neuro opthamologists. That's how I know what I have. I was told that there is really nothing to do because surgery would would just mess up other things. I want to know if anyone knows any other way to treat it and if not how they cope with it cuz sometimes it's really hard to not go crazy from it.

Have you looked into a neuro opthalmologist or neurologist that has special training and experience using botox? It is a muscle relaxtant and used to tret palsy long before the (controversial) cosmetic botox came out.

If you're in new york i know a great neuro that gives botox injections for chronic migaines and he might give it for other things too. I also know an excellent neuro opthalmalogist whoi is very knowledgable and thorough and might to it too.

Sorry I don't know of any neuro ophthalmologists that use Botox. However I would suggest you call Cornell Eye Center at 646-962-2020 and ask if Dr Mark Dinkin (their neuro ophthalmologist) does it. My neurologst Dr Joseph Safdieh at Cornell 212-746-3113 does Botox you can ask his secretary if he does it for your condition.
